Carissa Health Care Services is a Home Health Care Agency specializing in skilled nursing from Pediatric to Geriatric populations Carissa Healthcare provides Line Care, IV Infusion, Chemotherapy, Private Duty and more. Carissa has been leading the way in the health industry for over 8 years! This externship allows individuals to unlock greater heights by contributing to state policies. To thrive as an extern for Carissa HealthCare Services means that you are ready to learn, you have a desire to build policies and provide insight to policies and procedures required by the state.

responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Examine and audit Policies and Procedures 
  • Provide enhancements to policies and procedures in relation to Carissa Health Care Services. 
  • Write clear and concise policies, guidelines, and procedures in connection to the state standard. 
  • Ensure that policies are revised and implemented. 
  • Upkeep record of policy revision.  
  • Gather information through research to determine policy requirements 
  • Collaborate with office administrator on a daily basis

Qualifications:

  • Member of Symposia Academia
  • Has completed 1 cohort (NIST, TPRM, SOC Series, etc) 
  • Willingness to learn
  • Experience writing policies 
  • Experience reviewing policies 
  • Experience collaborating with upper management
